Well, me thinks the weather is FU everywhere at the mo. Not really a surprise, 3 hurricanes in one go will have an effect on everything else, esp when one was the size of Germany -maybe even a tad larger.
The suction and pushing of winds and (sea) water of that thing, 2 other hurricanes adding to it, is bound to have a global effect.

You're talking typhoons, we don't have those here either, but the weather here is totally out of whack too. Lots of heavy winds and rain, thunder etc. While a mere 2 weeks ago it was too hot to sleep under covers (28-30C ) we now have to run heating, and I already added my winter duvet to the covers last night. Heating and winter duvet, while it's not even mid-September?
Other areas in the USA are having severe droughts, weather's gone nuts all over I think.
Maybe Oz en NZ are okay, dunno.

He just had quad bypass surgery and is in Buffalo. He had a friend down there supposed to keep an eye on things, but I'm sure his wood 38' Trojan wasn't pulled out of the water.

Yes, he actually got to go home two days after it. Thinking it's amazing how medical procedures have advanced.
