Is this good advice?

Its the pain that makes us who we are....without it how to we determine where we stand......It took Thomas Edison 2,000 tries to invent the lightbulb....when questioned about this he replied "i never failed I only figured out 1,999 way to not make a lightbulb." Well take 2000 relationships, figure out how they dont work and make the one that counts work.

Dude, I would have to say that's BAD advice! I'm a little older and hopefully a little wiser for it all. But if you have even 20 serious relationships in your life, you are still doing something wrong (just my opinion) I'm 42 years old now and have loved 3 women (in a marriage style love) in my life. I am divorced and know that pain too well. And again, just in my own opinion, those people that can just bounce around from one relationship to another.. well they do not know what true "love" is. Because when you experience it and you get hurt from it, it takes a while to heal, sometimes many years. The other key is to KNOW YOURSELF! You can control ONE person in this world.. thats YOU. So you better know who you are, what you want, what you don't want in a relationship, before you ever step up to the plate. If you truly have a loving caring heart .. it would not survive 2,000 tries .. and there is no way I would want to go through that kind of pain. Just my two cents..and its FREE! :)

well i guess the best thing to do is to learm from ur past experiences and hope for the best in the future. there are great people out there, just waiting for you to complete their lives...waiting...
