that is the question 
if you have a history of being fooled would that justify being very difficult to convince? specifically in relationships...your heart has been broken way too many times. you have to be extra cautious right?
do we wait before believing again or jut through the whole process again till we hit the jackpot 
As the saying goes,"once bitten, twice shy". Men and women both have instinct reaction to withdraw or shy away from things that have caused them the pain. Being cautious is normal for people who had been hurt from the past and doesn't want to get hurt or fooled again. It would take some time to convince someone to believe that your feelings is real, you gotta work on building trust for someone to believe and fall in love again.  dolphin thats true i just wish there is like an easier way to know.'like the way they talk or when they cant look you in the eye or they smile in a certain way or they say the same things like hey you or waz up or something 
just outrageous thinking here ok dont mean to say anything offensive 
 walk the talk kind of guy?  they are rare species nowadays  men usually have sweet tongues, they love to use flowery words to lure women, I'm not saying all are, okay? There may be few existing try to look for the nearly extinct specy and trust your instincts, usually women have this gut instinct and if you feel something uncomfortable, trust your instincts... Run as fast as you can!!! kidding aside, we all have a gift of discernment, give chance to others, they are not all the same... Let them prove their worth and only then you will know .....and maybe you can sing the . .... I GOT LUCKY! i should be so lucky in love

I find this to be INTRIGUING, CHALLENGING, and somehow CONTROVERSIAL.
Obviously for some. 
But NOT, if we DEEPLY look at it from our inside, and/or, compare it with our experiences in life. WARNING !!..Some need to read it few times to get it

For the Second situation, it is very personal. It really depends on what you value the most and your faith in. problem is sometimes they would mold their personality into what they think would work to make the girl fall for them ..., should we try and do the opposite then? would saying : i like a lying obnoxious,insensitive guy, help in a way that the opposite of this guy comes along and figure out this is not what you really want

funzy...that mist poem was very profound i think ill have to dig deeper into myself to be able to do that. from what i do understand is sometimes its good to trust with our hearts and not our minds...sense in the dark and not get blinded by the light... accept that days turn into nights as there is always another day and a different way it unfolds
