i joined mingle and got my confidence back...never thought id lose it again here at the same place i found it. can someone help me find it ? maybe i need my glasses upgraded or i need someone to hit me on the head? lol....encouraging words...please be kind lol. NO flirting needed here ok

Sounds like you had a bit of a rough time in the past. You need to take a break from looking for a guy at the moment. Just get to know people, chat, have fun, enjoy life. Confidence is not something you can turn on and off like a switch. It takes time to rebuild. And as you meet more people, you will find the right person. You can do it..!!

Take your time, rebuild who you are and want to be. It is good to have a strong partner. they can be an anchor when you are having a tough time. And I mean it in that they will not let you hit the rocks. Start with chatting. If someone likes you for who you are, they will keep on chatting. and from there, you can figure out if you have anything in common.. they may be a friend... or they may become a life partner. But, no need to rush.

mingles2 is truly a rough place. i met friends talk with them then their deactivated never to hear from them again try 8 months of texting phone talking and mingles2 then no response when i tried to contact them.
many people say what they are but really are not. looking for a soulmate , looking for a partner, they keep looking but love is more of a feeling that you cannot be without that person in your life very very difficult to do that over cyber space.
don't be discouraged just pull your socks up and keep going.
