Been there done that, when why are gone the only thing you can do is keep your chin up and eyes front. Hopefully there is someone better out there even thought right now that doesnt seem possible. Things will get better you'll see.

Trust me, I have just been crushed by somebody that meant a lot to me. And I have learned that he really is not worth it in the end. Still days go by when I think to my self, I can not believe I did not mean more to him, after all that we went through together. But hey just have to suck it up and move on, and take the comfort in your friends.

It only has the potential to be depressing if you choose it to be. Go do something happy for yourself. Do not get yourself down over some jerk. Instead bring yourself up because of that jerk. Everytime you feel the need to cry or what not, then do something special for yourself.

there's the problem, the whole "friends" part;
he didn't like my friends because they were males,
so, he made me blow them off. he didn't even like
my few female friends, so i blew them off for him.
biggest mistake i've made. now, i'm left with nothing.

Hey, I know that the wound is fresh and will take time to heal, one thing I have learned over my many years of life, if someone, be it male or female, isolates their partner from their friends, that is a huge warning sign of an abuseive person. Your true friends will not give up on you, even if you "had" to step away for a time. You are never alone, believe it or not Creator is walking with you.
There are better and bigger fish in the sea, do not be in a hurry at your young age to be bound down. Life your life to the fullest and get to know what you do not want in life. Stand firm for yourself.

tell a story life was good then all of a sudden divorced two kids not as sexy as i used to be so i needed to find myself and decide what to do in life cheer up mostly , so i went to thailand best thing i ever did as it changed my perspective and i realized my life is alot better than some, hope this helps a little

Like another person noted, abusive people isolate you from your friends. That is a classic sign. That's so they can control you. Been there, done that. This is probably a blessing in disguise.
