Will wine help me sleep? It helps some people ana. Camomile tea, other sleep remedy teas, and calcium also help. Kava kava tea really helps, two cups should do it, just don't drive when you drink it. |

I drink all three at different times and for different reasons.
In the morning I drink 2-6 cups of coffee. When I feel cold or ill I will drink hot tea. In the summer Iced Tea is refreshing. I also drink lemonade. Sometimes I have wine with a late afternoon or evening meal. Sometimes I have wine when I'm feeling blue. The taste lifts my spirits as much as the alcohol effect. I drink other things as well. Beer when I am feeling rowdy or after physical hot work. There is just something about an ice cold beer after a hard hot day. I don't drink much milk anymore. Used to love getting whole milk straight from the pasteurizer vat. As I age my need for it has subsided. Plus, I have developed a slight intolerance to it. I do drink a lot of cold or ice water. I have no problem drinking tepid water, I keep a bottle in my bedroom non-refrigerated. Most meals I eat are with plain water. I take water on long road trips. It does go thru me like water tho. I like fruit and vegetable juices too. At any given time I have multiple flavors on hand in my pantry or fridge. I usually drink them with ice. I try to stay away from soda pop. I do drink it but now I limit how much and make a decision to do so. I was addicted to it like many of the working class. I could probably build and fill an Olympic-sized pool from all the cans, bottles, glasses and cups of the stuff I have consumed over my life. Its no wonder I am a Type 2 diabetic. While I was young and energetic I burned all that sugar down but as I aged and slowed down I caused my own illness. Alcohols like vodka, rum and whisky are very limited. While I do like a a bit of cognac or rum from time to time, I can take it or leave it. When I entertain adult guests I offer different mixed drinks and frozen concoctions. I keep a fairly well-stocked bar but use it very sparingly. I use alcohol in cooking and keep a good supply of cooking wines and sherry. I love hot coco after coming in from playing in the snow. Even here on the south coast I keep a stock of it. I also have a supply of instant spiced cider. I have been craving sarsaparilla for the last few years. I could buy some online but I wait. If I see it I will buy it. Problem is - I never see it! I use Root Beer, Birch Beer and Cream Sodas in some of the desserts I like to make for people. I use spiced cider in Christmas hams and corned beef boiled dinners. I'll add beer to BBQ, wine to sauces and coffee to candy I make. I also enjoy an iced coffee sometimes. While I am not one to frequent Starbucks, I do enjoy an occasional cappuccino, latte or espresso. |

Can I have it one at a time? Coffee in the morning..... flavored tea in the afternoon I always have these two at home and in the office stored in our pantry cupboard with something to munch everytime I take a break and relaxing with the seaview oooh and I wish I could just easily have wine here in the evening, instead I had to travel to another hotel island just to have a sip on weekends
