I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!

Drug tests can only test for certain drugs and you can easily cover it up or get someone to pee for you.. so it just seems like a real waste of tax payers money anyway...

But I do agree there should be a way to sort out the losers who are just soaking up money and not working vrs a single mom working and trying her best to do the right thing.. Or something along those lines

I disagree with drug testing at all. It is so inaccurate and can easily be cheated. It would only give the government yet another excuse to raise taxes.

They do have a system in place for sorting out the cheaters, people don't get welfare forever, and most of the time the cheaters get caught.

Actually there are different tests .. there's a test strictly for pot, and then there's the all in one test for everything from opiates to pot to just about everything. And then there's the hair test that tells whom ever is testing you what you've done within the last few years.

I know quite a few people, in different areas of employment, that have to take urine tests for work.

I have to do one also randomly and every two years.

And I think that if ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICE, wants to make TRUCK DRIVERS take piss tests that ALL branches of DRIVERS should have to also take them,,,POLICE, FIRE, MEDICS, ARMOURED CAR.
TAXI, BUS, as OUR LIVES depend on THEN being NORMAL!!!!

As far as Government check receivers, THEY, would find away around them taking them,,like fake people, ID's...fake urine.
and the cost involved with getting them to a place to do them and the place? It would be alot of work to MAKE THAT happen but it could only HELP people to NOT be messed up, at that time anyway...


If the US is going to try to control the use of drugs here, THEY need to REALLY DO IT, and not half ass it by only making certain groups test and not EVERYONE TESTED, in GOVERNMENT OFFICE'S TO...

There are a lot of jobs here that require passing a drug test. From banks, to warehouses, to driving trucks, to casinos, to manufacturing, and on and on

yup why don't you just rid of the drug testing for the employees. If someone is cracked out and missing work, it's obvious that they aren't doing their job. It's readily apparent that this is different from someone lighting up a joint on the weekend to relax. Not doing your job right should be the reason someone doesn't have a job not drug use.

Another one of my reasons why I think God is just having a big ole cosmic chuckle at all of us. The drug that has no reachable OD limit and who's societal impact generally includes the increase in sales of Captain Crunch and Nachos is illegal, stays in the system the longest, and is the reason for most failed drug tests. The drug that is responsible for many many fatal car accidents, domestic violence, bar fights, and sleeping with people who you really wish you hadn't, is perfectly legal.
