In my 30's I was a welding inspector..and performed other non-destructive testing on re-bar and many other materials and building projects.
Climbed tower cranes ..found cracks and shut down job sites.. |

In the early 70's I set up the first computer network
for the phone company (Western Electric.) My company sent me to Princeton to learn about this new thing..computers, this was when you actually programmed from scratch using a mainframe, shared. |

That's actually pretty rad was that Univac they had used to predict the 1952 Presidential election, it put odds at 100 to 1 on Eisenhower, which executives considered so far out they hid the result until after the election, most folks were plain scared of them :-) Not me..I knew twas all about numbers..my thing :-) |
