Nationality does matter tremendously in terms of logistics. I went through the immigration process myself back in the early '90s, and even then it was complicated, time consuming, expensive, and stressful. It all worked out, but don't fool yourself into thinking it will be easy. Yes, love can and will prevail, but you better be darn sure it's love before you start submitting applications.

what about you are in the same country but you really cant take this nationality? Anyway i think let us be plain and straight which nationality we prefer to contact us. But most of he people cannot be considerate and still sending messages. Just saying.

Playing the nationality card? If someone isn't interested, move on. You can't generalize this way.

Does matter to me. If someone's from a country that's too different, not gonna work for me. So I'm talking language, culture, religion, general norms and values.
Which means they have to be Western nationality and either Dutch or native English speaking. I'm not going to sod around learning yet another language anymore. |

I don't block a member based on nationality. I block scammers after reporting them, those who wouldn't take no for answer, those who send nasty messages... I think that's it. |
