Yes to the fairy tale question. Chick flicks have perverted the entire idea of what love and relationships should be. Romeo and Juliet is only a romantic story cause both of them die, they didn't have a chance to argue about mortgage or how to discipline their kids.

In a chick flick the "hero" acts like a complete stalker the whole time even running up to the girls wedding and ruining it.

First off unconditional love is reserved for your kids and your dog. Relationships between men and women are always conditional. They are conditional upon neither party cheating, or developing a server coke addiction or whatever else is a deal breaker for you.

I think love exists, but it doesn't wear the same disguise as what the movies show. Love is being able to make up after the argument, love is enjoying the flaws that people have and being able to laugh at them, love is being willing to compromise rather than just have it your way. Love is feeling like crap after you hurt the other person. It's just as much about dealing with the bad together as it is about enjoying the good.

Perhaps you're not selecting the right guys, perhaps you don't know exactly what you're really looking for or maybe what you're looking for isn't realistic and no guy can live up to your expectations.

BTW, things worth having usually are rare and usually are hard to get.

Yes it does exist, you just have to be open to it. If you don't beleive and are not open to it, you will not find it.

I'm open to whatever happens, I'm just not going to push myself on anyone who isn't mature enough to know what they want. I tend to go for men who are between 25 and 35, and sadly even THOSE guys have no clue what they want... I don't wait around when I feel that they are just playing games.
