I think if every single non married person had to register on a certain dating site, we would have much better picks to choose from. But even in this day and age, many are still not on the internet at all, or are not on dating sites. One thing about this site is that we see whoever is on here, from anywhere in the US. But each city/state only has a certain number of people who are on the site, which limits the choices. Distance can be a problem, but only if you have one or both partners who are not willing or able to relocate.

I really hope you find a nice guy, Jayme. (This is a really nice girl who I have known on JSH for a long time). At my age, I don't really think as much about finding someone like I did when I was in my 20's. But I can remember how it was! I used to fall in love easily, until I got hurt so many times when women did not feel the same way for me that I kinda got tired of having those deep feelings. And yet, I still get upset every time I lose a friend, even if I only knew her a day or so.

i am in the same boat as you darlin. i believe love exists, but its the hardest darn thing to find, and there are only so many times the cliches make you feel better "good things come to those who wait" "itll happen for you when you least expect it..." blah blah blah. remember, though disney fairy tales all ended happily ever after, those stories are based off of Grimms fairy tales, which were morbid and normally resulted in people getting eyes gouged out or having body parts chopped off (both of these in the real version of cinderella. dont believe me? google it ) oh, and i live near disney world, its not quite as happy as what its made out to be. love is possible, and will be totally worth it.

Haha, I have a really old Grimm's Fairy Tales book... I know. I like the Disney versions better...lol. Anyway, yeah... I suppose it CAN happen, but the likelihood is small.
