Love is a drug induced illusion and I can prove it. When our brains produce increased levels of dopamine, oxytocin, vasopressin and serotonin we get the feeling of being in love. To prove love is an illusion, a professor conducted an experiment and I duplicated it. Sit down face to face with another person, look into one another's eyes and share deeply personal information with each other for three minutes. I know this doesn't sound like much, just try it and see what happens.

Hahahaha? Knowing the definition of love does absolutely nothing to increase or decrease its significance. Love itself is purely personal. Its is not tangible. You can't put it in a box or on a shelf and sell it. You can't store it for times when you feel it is diminishing. Its something YOU feel when YOU feel it. An emotional state of mind. You can't "Find Love" and Love doesn't "Find" you. You "FEEL" love. Ask someone to describe the love they are looking for and they will describe the things that make them FEEL love but not love itself. That's because love is not a thing, in itself. You can't 'Give' someone else your love. You can demonstrate the love you feel for them but you can't fill them with your love. If they feel love, its all them. With love, the ONLY thing you can be sure of is that YOU feel love. Others can tell you they feel love but you can't feel the love they feel and vice-versa. A person can say they love you and mean it. A person can love you and never actually say it. A person can say they love you but don't. When you believe someone who says they love you, they are effectively demonstrating the love they feel in such a way you perceive the love they are showing. You are not experiencing their love for you. You are experiencing their demonstration of love for you. Love is an inside thing which we try to make an outside thing so we can share it with someone else. Sometimes, we are effective demonstrating the love we feel towards another. Sometimes, its more difficult. Love is a real emotional feeling. Human empathy allows us to fee love when it is effectively displayed. As long as the person displaying their love does it in a way which aligns with you. Someone can love you but you do not love them. You can love someone but they do not love you. Nobody did anything...wrong. The connection and alignment just wasn't there. Love is one of the easiest emotions to feel but one of the hardest to display. It requires a receptive target. It requires the correct display. All love is true love. Its your feeling and your feelings are true to you. If it isn't true love, its not love at all. Love is not difficult if you have personal emotional maturity. This means you understand your emotions and why you feel the way you do. You are in control and that control allows you to focus on displaying the love you feel. For those of us who have emotional control, love is easy.
