Love is a 4 word letter word which only has meaning if both people saying it actually mean it. It isn't about who has what and what someone doesn't have or doesn't do. It's not about hurting the person you are meant to care about. Love is about loving the person you are partnered to unconditionally. It's about being happy & comfortable with each other but it doesn't mean that you always have to agree with your one & only. I won't argue with the one I love, I would walk away from a relationship rather than get into an argument and cause further hurt to my one & only. I also don't dwell on issues as once I say my piece then I'm over it. Love is about weathering any storms and being there at the end of it with your one & only. Loyalty does come into it and so does humour as a relationship that is based on fairness and honesty has a far better chance of lasting long term. Also if I ever found someone in future years that I wanted to marry then I would take my marriage vows seriously even if the other party was being a jerk at times due to the fact that I took those vows so I would honour everything. I don't agree with divorce as why go through the marriage process only to walk away later. Love is also about listening to your one & only snoring each night; slurping their coffee every day; watching them hanging your undies the wrong way on the clothesline and accidentally dying your clothing different colours because they didn't do the laundry properly; looking after your one & only when they are ill ; eating their really bad cooking because they cared enough to cook it for you and the list goes on. Also, love is looking at your one & only's face every day and having your heart melt each & every time.
