Love is the word used to describe and/or explain how we feel about others. It probably has a number of biological characteristics that we may be able to observe or measure. I think some may include a general type of brain activity when thinking of a loved one, hormonal responses to interactions with that person, and other things. I believe one day we could predict whether two people love each other based on raw data without watching them in real life.

love is someone you can depend on no matter what. it's having someone to hold you at night and make you feel wanted and needed. it's someone giving you their all even when there's barely enough for themself. it's going to see that sappy movie or spending that day with her family and not making her feel like it's a hardship for you and acting like you want to be there even though you both know you really would rather not. love is giving anything to see that beautiful smile come across her face just one more time. love is loving her children

Reminds me of a movie I watched several years ago (a scifi Romcom ) .....about a digital timer implant worn on the wrist that counts down to the exact second Destiny introduces a person to their to their soul mate .
