“Night Breeze”

As I sit out under the night sky.
I let out a sigh.
As I feel the cool night breeze.
I look up and watch the top of the trees.
As they sway back and forth.
Thinking it must be getting colder up north.
For now the weather is perfect.
You can sit out side and enjoy it and take time to reflect.
I sit and think about the past.
How everything has come together at last.
I have no regrets.
Nor does the past bring on any threats.
For they have been dealt with on the way.
At times I just sit and survey.
As I sit outside under the night sky.
You see one can not deny.
Just to feel the cool breeze across your face.
It feels like a soft embrace.
As it wraps around you it seems.
That it grabs you within and takes you to the extremes.
Makes you forget.
And let you permit.
If only for a moment you forget your troubles of the day.
As you let the breezes whisk you away.
Even for a moment to another time and space.
As you feel the breeze upon your face.

There's nothing like a cool night breeze in the evening time...like God whispering our faces. It feels so nice. Very good write Kristi...I enjoyed it.
