Leaves they fall unto the ground,
Some will rake them to a mound.
Then they burn them to an ash,
Others put them in the trash.

Trees are left bare to the bone,
Cold will chill us to the bone.
Some will fall unto the axe,
Others fall with broken backs.

Warm the souls within this fire,
Heated trees in burning desire.
One more season come n gone,
Cold as ice the coming dawn.

Think of life I watch n ponder,
All my thoughts to sit n wonder.
If the things I’ve seen in trees,
Will progress as I please.

Watching rivers to n fro,
Where they grow I’ll never know.
As the leaves float down the stream,
Just as life or in a dream.

Dreams of life are just like trees,
Falling down unto my knees.
I will watch and rake them in,
As the beauty deep within.

In our souls are leaves of gold,
Falling down has been foretold.
More will grow each passing season,
There is always more to reason.

Think of life as these trees,
Leaves are falling to our knees.
They will grow back we all know,
As our dreams come we will grow.

Growing taller than before,
Love will blossom evermore.
Love the seasons as you please
Will you grow up, like these trees.

Very good Gryph...good symilies...I feel like the four seasons myself at times...only vice versa...when summer time gets here, my leaves fall...lol...when winter gets here they get thicker....so to speak.
