I did not read this entire thread, but i will say that Canada does indeed have troops in Iraq. Either that, or the ones i met while in country were lying about where they were from, which is highly unlikely considering their uniforms and accents. That said, i am totally for the war. Saddam sucks. He needed to be taken out. And you need to keep in mind that the public does NOT know everything that happens over there. I will argue the WMD controversy until the day i die - they most certainly DID have them. The whole notion of "negotiating" with Iraq is laughable at best - the term "negotiate" is only valid if BOTH sides are willing to talk, listen and, ultimately, to bend.

This war was a bullsh-t lie from the get go. Saddam could have been dealt with faster and much more silent.
It wasn't that he was someone that WE feared, it was his oil and Bushy's revenge for his daddy.
I know many many soldiers that have been there, are there and are going...most agree, bush is an ass, and the war is a farce. They are willing to stay with their brothers in arms and be their backs. They are a brotherhood, and this war is nothing more than a ploy. They are now thinking of the innocents, not wmd"s. The soldiers that is. Many of them anyway.
If we want to talk about weapons of mass destruction; then lets do it. What about Iran? North Korea? Very busy bodies. We know it; doing nothing about it though.

I will be asking some more questions from my sons. We talk about what I talk about here. They tell me what they know. Some would know....they were there.
