It does not matter if you are American or not on this subject. It is obvious world wide the wreck baby shrub has made of America and his over zealous wish for Saddam has really created a world wide issue in Iraq. Yes your poem is accurate. He does not care for the common folk of any country. He cares only for the elite like he is.

it is just time to get out

they do not know how to fight a war

they worry to much about public opinion

when you worry about public opinion

at war time people die a lot of them

if they would of just went in done what needed done

it would have been over three years ago

if you can end a multi front world war

in less than five years there is no excuse

for been in a single country conflict for

this amount of time and not be in control

public opinion was in favor of it at the time

but failure to fight a war cost thousands of lives

and continue to do so

but hey what do i know

Noone should sit back and spectate.....Gyps....you are a citizen of the WORLD...you have a right and an obligation....to express your opinions, and to grieve the losses created by the Ignorant.
We are all a part of each other.....how can we not feel the loss........
I...for 1....stand with you...and support your right to oppose!!!!

Yes Fanta, there are Canadians there....I dont think your figures are exactly accurate though, considering there is medical personnel there as well etc....I dont really think anyone will "really" know.....

Ive had the chance to talk to a few americans on this site that were actual soldiers at one time and they had no idea that Canada was in Iraq and told me I dont have a say in this matter....noway noway

Cyber.....Yes, the song is from Pink and it did remind me of the Dixie Chicks song as well....and the controversy surrounding it but for some reason....but that was a few years ago when the war was still quite fresh....I think the average person may be thinking a different tune now...flowerforyou

Thank you Ghostrider......Peace~~!!!!flowerforyou flowerforyou

you can put up all the united front ya want but when the people we elect are the priviledged few what do they care about what the little people think. Most congressman and senators regard the constituients as public enemy number one and spend our money like its their own on this friggin war.Bush does not represent the people of America either.2008 can't come soon enough for me.

i do think it would be a good idea to require representatives
children of military age to serve in combat if there is a
war - including the executive branch. i also think that Saddam
was an accident waiting to happen and that he did need to be
dealt with - but the world shirked its responsibility as
it is doing with many other conflicts around the globe...

the UN is a joke and primarily wastes money jawboning while
real people are mutilated and all sorts of crucial issues
languish.

the price of freedom is still eternal vigilance. term limits
are also an excellent idea.

According to the Canadian Government gypsy there are no Canadian troops in Iraq! Good for Canada I guess, but when the two Canadians were taken hostage, sometime ago they sent in a small unit to help rescue them.

I honestly dont think there are any there now! I know there weren't at the beginning of the war!flowerforyou

Fanta dig a little deeper. You'll find that JTF2 is in Iraq AO at the request of US military and has been for a while.

Want a little background? JTF2 was started in mid 1980's. It's operations however only came to light about 5 years ago and only in very limited amounts to the public.

That must be the 31 fury!
Im not denying that 31 Canadian troops are there! Cant really tell if they are or they aint! They were for a rescue mission for Canadian civilians that were held Hostage!

The ironic thing is that the Canadian Government is saying they arent! LIES?????

I do find this;
Nearly 92% of the troops in Iraq are from the United States. The majority of other nations that did deploy troops either confined their men to their bases due to widespread violence, or issued specific orders to avoid hostile engagement (especially true of the Spanish commanded Plus Ultra Brigade).

The United Kingdom, Poland and Australia are the only nations engaged in occasional raids.
