The coldness gets deeper into the bones
The snow and ice is starting to fall
The winds cut through you like a sharpened knife
Winter is upon us
The sun appears but is so far away
that the warmth it spreads is a dream for another day
So what can we do
Drag out those extra blankets
Turn up that heat
Snuggle down on the couch
with a good book in hand
Throw a log on the fireplace and Watch the flames appear
as the coldness seeps out of your bones
on this cold winters eve
Watch the snow and ice from the warmth of your living room chair
Chase the winds away with a nice glass of beer
Stay cozy and warm
As winter creates its dance
For the dreary cold days are upon us now
but friends from afar will keep the warmth going
for those of us who know winters fury

ahhhhhh I gave you a nice surprise Cybear, actually I haven't been writing much been in a long dry spell........maybe because of all that is going on in my offline life........who knows Im just happy that I am writing again....and enjoying this new style oh I love those bear hugs
