MENOMONIE, Wis. –  A Wisconsin police officer who stopped a speeding college student who was late for a presentation ended up tying his necktie for him.

WBAY-TV reports the Menomonie Police Department posted dash cam video of the Nov. 30 traffic stop exchange on its Facebook page Tuesday.
The video shows Officer Martin Folczyk pulling up behind the University of Wisconsin-Stout student in a parking lot. The student explained he was speeding because he was late to give a presentation and was trying to find a friend who could tie his necktie.

Folczyk asked for the tie and made a knot for the student. He even adjusted it after the student put it on.

The officer sent the student on his way with a warning to slow down.

A college student that cannot learn how to knot a tie?...
Should have been knightsticked, till his common core was showing.

He kinda is if he had evidence to show the guy was speeding.

I mean there's all this "There's two laws! One for the Clinton's, and one for everyone else! FBI do yer job! Collusion between justice department and Clintons, law doesn't apply to them!"

Now here's a story that's basically "cop caught someone speeding. Decided on his own authority not to do his job enforcing the law."

Followed by what amounts to "here's evidence cops aren't bad, cops are good."


In high school a fellow student sped through a residential area and killed a kid.
The "I was late for class!" excuse wasn't good enough to get him from being prosecuted for it. Guess he didn't meet one of the "good" cops.

Hope the kid from the article learned the valuable lesson of "it's okay to speed as long as you feel you need to, speed limits exist just to give people jobs making them, cops enforce them arbitrarily, so driving rules and laws in general are arbitrary."

well like in any group you will have the 10% +/- that give the good
ones a bad name

imo which dont amount to a hill of beans --- anyone hired to enforce any laws breaks any laws their punishment should be at least double
(if not triple) that of a civilian.

they need to lead by example and be punished by example and any other
enforcement officer covering for an officer breaking the law gets the
same punishment the offending officer gets plus 20% then maybe they
will quit covering for the bad apples

on the civilian side anyone falsely accusing another of a crime gets the same punishment that the falsely accused would have recieved if found guilty
