the "Popular Vote" is a Red Herring, only the Majority of EC-Votes will put you into the WH!

Yeah, but whenever Democrats don't win by playing by the rules, they make up new rules.

some rules become out dated,, regardless of political affiliations

The left's pre-occupation with the so-called "popular vote" is dishonest.

We know how the votes work in this country. We vote by state. Aside from Maine and Nebraska, its winner take all! This is not a nation wide popular vote. This fact influences how people vote!

The mis-leadingly titled "popular vote" count would have been very different if we were holding a true popular vote for the position of president. Many people would have voted differently.

A lot of people that aren't in a "swing state" (rightly) think that their vote is less likely to effect the outcome of the election. Therefore they simply stayed home, or they voted third party. Many would have done otherwise if we had a true popular vote.

Trump was 100% correct to say that he would have campaigned differently if it had been a popular vote. Also, many of us would have voted differently, too.

We don't know who would have gotten more votes if we didn't have the electoral college.

Dems who keep railing on and on about the popular vote don't care, though. All they usually care about is advancing their agenda.

again with the cry baby antics who was it that gave trump a hard time
when he would not say if he would support the out come of the election

THE SAME PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT ACCEPTING THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION WHAT A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES

so now they want to change the rules of the electoral process so that
instead of the election being decided by all the states they want it
to be decided by the most populated states

the electoral college was set up to give all states a representative
(based on population) voice in presidential election

the founders knew that states would have different populations and that
each state should have a standing in the outcome of the election

the president is to be elected by all the state not just the ones with the most people (as it stands a candidate must carry at least
12 states to win) go with the popular vote and new york penn california and texas could decide the election in theory ----
wyoming's person's should have the same amount of say in the
election as a california's persons vote and the electoral
college makes that happen

the electoral college gives the larger populated states more voters
such as california getting 55 and the less populated states like
wyoming 3 thus the only fair way for all states to be represented in
a national election is with an electoral college

The original idea was for the most knowledgeable and informed individuals from each State to select the president based solely on merit and without regard to State of origin or political party.

because parties werent trusted

kind of like where we have gone 'back' to,, ,,,,,
