Growing up as a kid we always had to go around the table and say something we were thankful for onh Thanksgiving.Back then it was easy but as adults we get so wrapped of in our own problems we sometimes forget.So this year give thanks to our soldiers,give thanks you have a roof over your head and food in your belly,give thanks your not without warm clothes or a jacket.Yes were thankful for our family and friends but in reality we need to give thanks for so much more.

You are so right Pam, it was three Thanksgivings ago, that we were thankful my oldest daughter and my baby daughter were alive to spend Thanksgiving with us...because the eve of Thanksgiving, they were in a single car accident (themselves) skidded off the road and landed upside down across a ravine. They came out of it with a few bumps and bruises they lived to see Thanksgiving. I thank God everyday for that day, and all the days ahead. I thank Him even for the day to day problems I am going through, because He doesn't give us what we can't handle.

Ahh, the soldiers. I'm glad you mentioned them. So many people forget or just don't care about all of our guys and gals that are overseas for the holidays. Ask them what they are thankful for: family, the occasional warm meal, sleep, the soldiers to their left and right, and most importantly ... baby wipes.

Robert I am so grateful for you and so happy they made it I to thank God everyday.

Our soldiers are always with us everyday and I pray for them everyday...God bless each and everyone

Possibilities guide me and I am thankful for the ability to seek them. Freedoms come with a price, and I am always thankful for those who willingly give of themselves that I may enjoy mine.

Veterans day has past and Thankgiving approaches..... one gives reason to the other.

For being blessed with seeing a new day
For the food I was able to share with my loved ones
For the friends I have made on line
For the comfort of a warm home
For the strength to be able to support those who need my help
For being blessed with the words to be able to give thanks
For the love my children share for each other
For the love they share with me, they do not have to love me, they have chosen to do so and for this I am thankful
For the loving relationship I have with Michael
And most of all I thank God for his presence in my home.
