Ontario, I bet ya stay-up all night writing and scratching
out and writing on more? Thinking about a new post?
But you do come in with great question's from time to time and this one
should get ya alot of feed-back.

Yes, The worst one is CHRISTMAS, Why?
Because for my kids first 10-years of life, Christmas was
the best times I ever had or felt with them.
I would go to GREAT LENGTHS to make their day and Santa's visit
the coolest day that they could have?
The look on their tiny faces to see THE SPECIAL TOY that they ordered
through Santa? PRICE-LESS.
But kids grow up and have their on family and Daddy's only got their
memories, to look back and remember?
Greatest Love And Greatest SAD-TIME?

Kyl and all of the other soldiers that are present on this site - thank
you for your sacrifice and to those that did not make it back, may you
rest in peace and may your families be blessed. Holiday blues happen to
many for various reasons and if you are one of them that suffers keep
your head up. Don't sweat the small stuff - life is too short.

Being alone compounds the sadness I already deal with around the
holidays, I lost my mom right before Christmas 6 years ago, and 13 years
ago I lost my brother to suicide right afte Christmas, so coupl tha with
being alone, a son whose 18 and doesn' get into Christmas like he used
to..I am just not a happy bunny till January

I always get depressed around the holidays too, especially Christmas, my
grandpa had a stroke on Dec. 28 and died on New Years Day, it was in
1984 - but he was my favorite person in the world and I still miss him
dearly. Now that I have grandbabies Christmas is a little better, but
the commercialism does get me down too. Actually my mom died last
January 2nd too, but sad to say, I miss my grandpa more, he was the
sweetest man alive, and lived to be one week short of his 97th birthday
and was independent and had all his faculties right up to the end. Good
memories of him I have, not of my mom.

I have spent years trying to make gifts and bake for friends, only
buying a few gifts but that takes time, and not sure how I will handle
it this year. Have had a really stressful couple of years and will
concentrate on the kids, they can always make things better.
