Good Day My friends of M2, shots out to all who response to my forums, my loyalist in this M2 game, shots out also to Ms. Harmony, Ciretom, & many more who always comments in my columns, thank you again, well I got a fun one this one, okay, let's get into it. Alright have you ever been hanging out with a few close friends from work, school , or people you grew up with and you have a group night out. Your weekly woes we left them at the front door and its weekend. You just want to let your hair down & unwind. No work, no kids, no bills to pay, no worries right? Okay, have you ever when I out with friends , you had your meal, you saw a movie or better yet you and your friends decided on a club or Irish pub for light drinks. Okay Here's where its getting ready to get funky, you had a glass of your favorite drink, let's say " Incredible Hulk","Sex on the Beach", or Long Island Iced Tea" and you had one, then another, *& another, next thing you know you drunk. My question is when is enough is enough or in some cultures like German, Irish, & Russians its in the blood to get smashed. When you are smashed, what's the wildest thing you did? Was it something you was ashamed of ? Was it something great? or did it lead to being in jail or near death? Did you wake up with a dog collar around your neck along with 2 S&M chicks laying beside you? Okay my "vocal Avengers" Spill it let's get a fun lesson on this one> Later! gator!

EyeAmYourHost39,
use of it or nothing but I can recall I tell you guys this before I found my faith, about 10years ago I used to drink sociably along with my girlfriend at the time, I mean I used to be jacked up, but never was in trouble with the law or nothing I can recall that I lost a grip of money being intoxicated. Anybody that knows me know I hate losing money that's why I don't gamble. I lost a few hundred dollars being smashed with my guys. I can also recall a friend of mines did get arrested for drinking malt liquor outside which here in Pa considered drinking open container on the highway even though we wasn't on a highway but in a park. He was handcuffed and token to a police district downtown. the reason I didn't get arrested is because when the bike cop rolled I threw the can away before they rolled up so they never saw me with a beer! wild huh? |

I have been drunk twice in my life
subsequently it was the only two times I ever drank (more than a glass of wine) in my life as well one ended in a domestic dispute where I was hospitalized the other ended with me safely driven home by a friend but both instances deeply ingrained in me the absolute DISINTEREST in being 'drunk' or even drinking |

I believe in moderation - never a good idea to get "drunk".

The next morning i woke up in this girl house. i never get hangovers back then but i was curious i asked her" Did We Do The Do?" she replies...no i saw that those nasty strippers was trying to take advantage your your state you was in" " it looked like they was targeting you money?" I thanked her and offer to take her to a early breakfast. She was kid of cute too. and she looked out for me.....i never forget that girl. i wised we could of met on better circumstances for the first time being smashed lead me into what i call her my angel friend. |

I stayed 'till closing time to see enough crap go down with drunk studs and their babes to learn to respect my limits. I got smashed a couple times and didn't quite like the taste of what came up, not counting the dangerous or weird situations that came down. From being involved and cited in an accident even though I was a passenger in lalaland to pulling a prostitute away from the arms of a violent trucker - my nose is still thanking me for that one - and the odd scuffle among friends where you're so drunk you can't even pull them apart and end up receiving the only viable upper-cut in the whole fight.
Sometimes closing time is the best. If you take your time to your car and enjoy the night, you're likely the get approached in the parking lot by a woman who asks you to take off your shirt in the hot summer night. Enough alcohol will make sure your shirt disappears in an instant and she swoons and grabs you by the hand, to a minivan where three other women are waiting. One is collapsed in the back seat, drunk and sick, but the others cheer as their friend opens the door and says "Look what I've found, girls!" What happened next and throughout the night pretty much fulfilled all my fantasies for a lifetime. The whole thing was crowned by a fun breakfast at Deny's. I never saw them again, besides that one night at the pool tables, when a friend asked me to join him out on the town while he was on security detail for some big shot in Kansas City. Of course I had to introduce them to him, but how they got along is a story for another time. |

Rooster35,
Hi, welcome well I now have to say I can agree drinking is so so so over rated. my walk with Christ today is much more filling than a glass of something. I don't judge those who do remember I used to be a social drinker especially among friends and dating but its not my cup of tea today. As Fars as the vomiting , the egos with studs and other non missing antics of the devils nectar , well I think if you know your limits it can be a wonderful activity. the problem is that okay,, I live in a sports city. where if the Philly Eagles or &6ers play , men tend to get drunk and the problems starts right then and there. Well fars as I can see it seems the alcohol wasn't always good to you. |

Never been drunk, so I don't have that problem :)
One of the reasons I don't want to get drunk is that I don't want to end up in weird situations, and not even remember them. I've been tipsy, I can enjoy that, but more than that, not so much. |

Well fars as I can see it seems the alcohol wasn't always good to you. You're right, it was fun way back when... but given the choice, I wouldn't do anything differently... almost anything. I wasn't always good to alcohol I still party with friends but it's way more toned down these days. |
