As they say 'you must choose the one who loves you not the one you love' is that true??

As they say 'you must choose the one who loves you not the one you love' is that true?? I wouldn't be with someone I don't love and wouldn't want to be with someone who doesn't love me. |

Not really. In my opinion you can choose who you want. Alto of times love and lust are confused these days...

Who in this world suggested that a relationship shouldn't be one sided... And... How can you build a solid relationship if only one feel love?

Topic: what if someone loves you but you don't..!! Then you let them go. As they say 'you must choose the one who loves you not the one you love' is that true?? IMO not true. You must choose the one you love and loves you back as much as you love them, if not more. my two cents |
But what if he doesn't love you back??
But what if he doesn't love you back?? Then YOU move on. I know it is easier said than done. But if he doesn't love you, you will just be frustrated and miserable because he doesn't return your feelings. So, this relationship (if there is one at all) is doomed from the very start. |

got that advice and will never pass it on lol...equal love would be the ideal thing especially if a couple would like to make it last... utmost respect for one another is also very important

As they say 'you must choose the one who loves you not the one you love' is that true?? Uh, no. It isn't true. |
we don't say that here
As they say 'you must choose the one who loves you not the one you love' is that true?? No... There must be a sense of connection, an attachment or reciprocity. It must be mutual. Otherwise, it is just an unrequited love. |

If you don't love them, you'll end up feeling and being miserable in the relationship.
Exactly the same scenario if you love them, but they don't love you. What's the point of being in a relationship with someone who doesn't love you, doesn't long to be with you, doesn't desire you? Someone should be happy to be with you, happy to please you, and feel better him/herself because of the relationship. In order to feel that way, you need to love one another. BOTH will get miserable when the relationship is one-sided, as it simply isn't fulfilling for either party. |

Not saying its a bad thing! Just not our thing over here! Bobbo, you're back!!! Yay!!!!! Thing is, you also deny the other person true love if you take them off the market when you do not really care for them as they do you..you do them a disservice, not to mention yourself. |

IMHO, that would not be fair to the other person.
It should be fairly mutual. |
