why not just say still married with complications or separated from original self whos still tied to another person lol Why do you feel the need to attack people who you have already rejected out of hand? Talk about a waste of time and energy. If someone isn't up to your standards of desire or acceptance, just move on. |

why not just say still married with complications or separated from original self whos still tied to another person lol very common, traditionally woman are the givers and the men are the takers. after a few years comes the power struggle when the woman struggles to get her sense of self back.....she was a partner in the creation of the lose of her sense of self. when we give to others when we really do not have it give takes from our essence.....learning to ask for what we need, even knowing what we need in some cases goes a long way to prevent it from happening...''believing you deserve to be happy and you are lovable is the core issue''....no matter how bad it gets or how good it gets it starts with us and ends with us...... |

Separated and hot is okay!
Separated and average is just not worth the drama. |

I have known three couples who were separated but still lived in the same home,, because it was financially more feasible,,,,,but lead their seperate lives
I have also been 'separated' many years after both marriages (yes, I had two), lived in a separate location and lived a separate life because the financial struggle made it hard to allocate that investment(divorce) when so many other financial responsibilities fell upon me and when I wasn't trying to marry anyone else I have also known people, due to no marriage, that were therefore 'single' but they lived with someone who thought they had a commitment ,,bottom line is the label is always going to just give you a mere legal accounting,, but the emotional and relevant details will have to come by asking questions with the exception of 'married',, which is a legal accounting that for me means,, OFF LIMITS perhaps marital status could be replaced with a simple 'are you involved in ANY romantic commitment?" |

If only msharmony would change her status from "Separated" to "Divorced", then I could ... uh ... Never mind.

True... But then they've created choices of status here (marital status) to choose from... If somebody wrote 'married still' then it will lessen the interest of what they're aiming for (relationship, activity partner, etc)... Well I'm divorced for 6 years now... If somebody shown interest on me here he will ask what's the reason of my divorce or don't care to ask about it at all
