Maybe that's the difficulty, you don't mention much in the OP and that could be a sign of very poor communication abilities.

Could be you have this idea of how things should go and what relationship you want from them once you find them.

Then you can ask any human resource employee "why is it so hard to find a good candidate for hiring."

The three things you've mentioned are good for a start. The possible difficulties begin when you begin sorting/rejecting based on items in their profiles, and later when you email or meet. Then your three original preferences just aren't enough by themselves. (This goes for both genders.)
