I was just wondering for those who are here only for FRIENDSHIP, have you found the one for you already? and if so, how? and if you havent found the one, do you hope to find the one through friendship?

Just a thread for those here for Friends.

I thought I found the one, we talked on the phone and text and now he is acting like he doesnt care, even tho we are suppose to be friends, friends dont treat friends like crap no matter what your going thru. Yes i do hope to find the one thru friendship.

I am here looking just for friends. I have the outlook that I am very content with my life...so why do I need to disrupt it? I think that if someone happens to come along and we are great friends and it does happen to turn into more...then thats great. If it doesn't work out that way, my life is good the way it is.
I have a very supportive family, great friends all around me, and two wonderful boys...what more could I possibly want?

Friendship is the way to other things. You must have it in order to have a lasting relationship. I have discovered that through many failures.

okay somebody define friendship, and we will all go out of the gate at the same time, race down the track, and head for the barn looking for friendship. well maybe something to eat too, and that is why we head back to the barn.

I think it is unreasonable to be seeking a relationship openly online because then you become a target and some people might want to take advantage. I am not in a relationship anymore and I strongly doubt that the next guy i date will be someone i meet online...but who knows I am staying open about things. It is better to be looking for friendship because that is usually the best way to get to know a person without there being any pressure to not be yourself. Those who hope to find a relationship online are probably shy or just not into the social dating scene. such as third party introductions and just flat out tired of searching and want to stay in their comfort zone.

So far friendship means "looking for friends" - male and female.

Seeking friendship DOESN'T mean friendship first and then...

And yes, I've made friends - male and female.

I've made some very good friends here. I didn't exactly come looking for friends (i already have many) but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I'm not sure what the poster means by friendship.

I've made some wonderful people here, both male and female.

I've also met some immature idiots.

I was the one who would always fall too easy. It has taken me quite some time since a good friend of mine said over two years ago, "I have fallen in something" but I actually get it now.laugh Hey, even the Rainman finally gets something.laugh I really like the comfort zone. Really nice to have a whole house that is a sanctuary after a hard night at work. From working where I do I want to know if I say, "Help, I have fallen and can't get up that someone will actually be there." Used to not have any friends but now I have many.

I just joined up now, so the only people I've 'met' are you people... who, BTW, seem pretty damn friendly :p

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile. Got that right! Thanks for the heads up LL. I try so hard to be immature. Ha ha ha ha.

Longhair..that wasn't directed at you. Immature is fine, being an idiot isn't. And that sir, isn't you.
