if the person is replying within a second.. that repels me :s as if he has got nothing else to do doesnt sound strong to me. maybe i am thinking nonsense :s i wonder if anybody else feels the same as me. |

the funny part is; when i reply them to say "i know u are fake and those photos belong to actor bla bla bla" the reply is: "who cares?" "so what?" and the last one replied "do you think you are the only smart one here?" i wanted to break a glass bottle on his head ! |

"so what?" and the last one replied "do you think you are the only smart one here?" i wanted to break a glass bottle on his head ! My opinion is that the time when sites like these were a viable possibility to meet someone for even something as simple as a date has long ago passed. |

i have met many people online
all were lovely i had wonderful boyfriends (the last one doesnt count lol) from these kind of websites always there is the problem of distance - for me even in the same country, different cities there is not any more chance for me to see someone from an online platform i know there are lovely people here but i had enough with the distances i want someone from my town, possibly from my street so that we can come across when we are throwing away the rubbish lol in that means, i am done with these kind of sites, any kind of online platform. |

Even the forums on all of these sites hold little charm any more. Once upon a time there were BUSY and FUN forums everywhere. Now there are scammers and tumbleweed here and trollfests on other forums.
Oh well, no point carping about it any more.

That's where I found mine, years ago. Most people these days do not seem to have the social skills necessary to find someone in the real world or here.

i remember, about 10 years ago (i am not talking about mingle2)
me and many other people would stay in the same thread for hours and hours, till the morning, sleepless.. there was such a fun going on, if i left it for 5 minutes, i would be 5 pages behind the others lol |

10 years Mingle was Justsayhi and it was like that. Dozens if not hundreds of different people posting daily. I could not wait to get home from work and go online.
There is still one website with busy forums. However, it is no longer moderated and most of the posters use several profiles to post and argue. It is gossipy, hate filled, drama filled, and is a clear example why these forums became PG13 rated. |

There is still one website with busy forums. However, it is no longer moderated and most of the posters use several profiles to post and argue. It is gossipy, hate filled, drama filled, and is a clear example why these forums became PG13 rated. the ones i used to hang at became like that as well no moderation fake users whatever you write, someone comes to troll over it, puts a nasty comment unbelievably pornographic photos and very sexual conversations and there is no one to say stop to them. that is why i stopped using those forums and stayed at mingle2. |

true, the fake profiles are not a problem for the site it is a problem for the users not everyone is experienced on internet, or these kind of sites i can see that a profile is a fake within a second but many people believe that they are real :s that is not only a problem that is dangerous for the members but a click may be a lot more important to them.. very unfortunate you see.. i am up to my nose with the fakes at the moment normally i would be always on Mingle2's side but at the moment even i am very bored with this :( hahahaa the Lesvos thing made me laugh really loud lol lol lol sounds very attracting maybe i shall arrange a meeting with him, and your possible friends may meet him on my behalf :DDD I hate for you to get it wrong. The scammers are virulent..as soon a they figure a way to invade, the site finds a way to identify them..then they change tactics.. that fast. They are acted upon immediately when reported..but everybody gets their day in court, it has to be proven so some are let by until they meet deletion standards, a good thing, so the innocent do not get bumped. The site has no interest in those numbers, they do everything they can to get rid of the insincere. They go at it around the clock, but M2 mods sleep occasionally. |

They go at it around the clock, but M2 mods sleep occasionally. sorry but not once or twice i have reported them with the links to original photos what else is needed? is it better to leave the reported ones like that because those are virulent? someone trying to fool me with fake photos are still hunting there i am not saying that i reported once and the same minute an action will be taken (of course i know that they have their times too) but this thing i have written has grown up within a week time, after reporting some again again and still any action is not taken. i very well know that admins and mods are human beings, anyway thanks for thinking that i dont know it and reminding. |
