soo, who else love baseball besides me?? congrats to the red sox for winning the world series.. im a mets fan tho, HUGE mets fan, and id like to see them get some starting pitching this offseason.. what teams are you all fans of?

I'm a Nats man. I grew up with old Washington Senators and then had to switch up the road to the Orioles. But now we've got our team back.
Also, as a Mets fan you might want to check out Ralph Kiner's book, Baseball Forever I think it's called. A lot of good Mets stories in there- especially about their early days when they were really bad. |

probably because Baseball is the most boring sport there is.it's worse than Golf and now you have Bonds doing steroids like the rest of the baseball players which just shows how weak the players are.America's past time?yeah right....

Yankee fan here. Glad the Mets didn't get A-Rod! And, JT....I guess no football players, wrestlers, etc do any steroids. Maybe you're just not watching the right team, otherwise there were 4 million very bored people paying to watch the Yanks this year.

Hey everyone, have you heard the latest?
Tom Glavine has signed a one year contract with the Atlanta Braves. He's coming back home again. 
Let's see what he can do next season for the Braves. Will he bring them back to Playoff status or possibly the World Series? I wonder????????

Yankee fan here. Glad the Mets didn't get A-Rod! And, JT....I guess no football players, wrestlers, etc do any steroids. Maybe you're just not watching the right team, otherwise there were 4 million very bored people paying to watch the Yanks this year. i didn't say Football players don't do steroids but football is a little more physical.do baseball players really need steroids to swing a bat?ummm...i think not unless they are really weak,so that kinda shows how weak Bonds really is,as is McGuire and all the others guys that take them while playing baseball.as far as it being boring,i used to play baseball and trust me,it's just as boring playing the sport as it is to watch it. |

Red Sox suck all.
Glavine is coming home....and all is right in the world of baseball. But the Braves will still choke until Cox retires. Time for him to go. I don't give a flip about A-Rod or the Yankees. Torre is gone and that team will fold like an accordian.

Yeah, they should've got rid of Cox a long time ago. They haven't wised up yet.

I really like Cox. The man is a winner, and he helped to turn the Braves around. But we all know that the Braves should have more than one World Championship. They won 14 straight league titles...and yet only one World Championship. Cox did a great job, but it is time for him to go.

I'm a mets fan too. I'm happy J-Roll won the mvp although I think Holliday should have. I'm glad we didn't sign Torrelalba and I hope we sign a decent catcher. I wouldn't mind Eckstein as long as we don't give him what he wants.

Am I really the only White Sox fan here? That sucks, haha. Oh well, I could go on and on about baseball. I had a 4 hour discussion about trades, prospects, etc. with my friend last night.

cause baseball is boring and slow paced....and is virtually a two or three team league...how exciting can that be?

Well if you've ever really looked at sports....basketball, football, and soccer all have the same thing in common. Players run from one end to the other trying to score. The only differences are the surfaces they are played on, different types of goals, and different shaped balls, but they are all the same concept. Baseball is a lot different. That's what makes it so entertaining and interesting to me.

well there you go...soccer isn't a sport......basketball is a playland for murders and thieves......Football is the only true sport you have named....i mean baseball isn't even a contact sport and those wussies get hurt.....please.....

Although I did laugh at what you said about Soccer and Basketball, according to you, the only "true" sport is football. Baseball isn't meant to be a contact sport, but it does happen such as railroading the catcher or breaking up a double play. And if you're going to call baseball players wussies, you should be calling football players wussies for wearing pads then. You should be a rugby fan since it's football without such extensive padding.
