Okay i was told by so many guys that we should just be friends? is that good or bad.. it seems like every guy that i like has that one liner.
i'm starting to give up hope on finding someone.. |

It's a bad statement. It's a way of saying "I don't think you're attractive enough", "I'm not THAT into you as a person", or some other reason to not want to be closer to someone while trying to be nice and not completely destroying their self esteem.

I have to say I'm a woman and I say that also,but I'm not ready to rush into something that may not be for me. I still respect the men that talk to me. It's the rushing into something that scares me.
 If you have been seeing that person for a while and they say it ... well it would be Go Time for me. Thats like telling me "Heres Your Sign"  :::::Soldier::::: You Crack Me up!

oh geeze, I always hear the lets just be friends line.........and I actually am friends with them........we hang out when they arent dating someone, shoot the breeze, have a few drinks, and I listen when they need someone to talk to about problems..........here I thought I truly was a friend and now I find out that Im just rejection material..now Im really bumming

Some of them might truly mean it, they value your friendship. Or have the ones who have told me that I don't want to ruin our friendship by dating were just being polite......if so then why are we still friends?

Wow I just re-read what I wrote and I think it makes me sound like a jerk..
*ahem* I meant, I mean it when I say that because I actually prefer having women friends over guys because if something happens in my life where I'd need someone to talk or relate to, a woman would never say "Get over it you *****".

I truly believe that my friends meant what they said.........and I personally feel that you should too Angel.........males and females can be friends without it meaning your not attractive enough to date........the chemistry for the romantic part is just not there
So don't ditch your male friends, enjoy them, and that special one will show up in your life when its time
