I think sometimes men just decide that they want what their friends tell them to want and become so scared of commitment that they shoot themselves in the foot when a good woman actually likes them. I say it sometimes, but when I do I generally mean it. I am not ready to jump into things....I like to take it slooooowwwwww....I feel a need to forge a friendship, really get to know that person, before I could consider anything else with them. If I want someone to leave me alone, I tell them " I have no interest in sex. It is a waste of time taking my clothes off for it." That puts out a fire rather quicklyfire.
