I took a stroll down memory lane
Tearing down trees grown in vain. The leaves fell like scattered dreams And were whisked away by lonely streams. |

SOON TO BE...

I've never found streams to be lonely, maybe I'm thinking of those babbling brooks. I do get what you're saying though Soon to be. Sometimes before one can build the new, the old needs to be torn down, doesn't make it less, just no longer right for you.

Very nice (((Sheila))).... The thing to remember, those scattered leaves often carry spores or seeds of new life, and the streams are teeming with it. They only seem to be lonely until you realize the life within them.

Actually, Poly, they are lonely...wishing to have what the other no longer needs.

short and to the point...soon to be divorced here too...I feel your pain as well and know my tree has felled its leaves. I'm just waiting for a flood to come and wash them away.

So sorry to hear that...it will get better with time.

I thought it was extremely cool. In fact, if the leaves carried a seed with them they would sprout new memories down the path.... of your life.. so it was my interpretation.
But by itself... it was extremely cool. J |
