I broke my ankle at work and got a cast on it yesterday.
 I have never had a cast so, I need advice on how to effectively bathe with this thing attached to my leg.  I can sit on thew bottom of the tub but, then how do I clean my arse?  Any advice is greatly appreciated

i had a cast on my right leg 8yrs ago i had carefully take bath with my right leg hanging out..

It has been awhile since I've had a cast...but I used to get a plastic trash bag that was large enough to fit over the cast and a rubber band or duct tape to seal it around my leg. I would avoid immersing it by using a board spanned over the foot of the tub that the cast rested on, if it was a half leg cast.

wrap it in a trash bag.at tape the end of the bagto your leg...still be careful.. but it will remain mostly dry...

hang your bum off the edge of the tub and get your self a retractable shower head!!!
