Religion is like a debate to see who has the best imaginary friend.

People all to many look for the facts that fit there pre-determined conclusion anyway.

I am sure if there is a god, he isn't going to 'hate' anyone and loving someone of your own sex is hardly a sin.

God created humanity and there's too much argument over the obvious. If He made this world, put man in it first, created woman to be with man--ONE woman and gave her to the ONE man - and said AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE - what else is there to debate about? Folks always want to "figure" God out.

I guess He says nothing because there's nothing else to say. He said it all right then and there. If it isn't obvious by the way He created things to be, man dissing and disrespecting the way God made the world after the fact and because of sin and vice is a moot and muted point.

Everything else after that is OUR problem, not His...God created nothing more than the earth in which we live, humanity and gender -- race, ugly, pretty, gay, not gay, fat, skinny, loud, overbearing, understated, cute, handsome, beautiful, all of that is some man-made crud that doesn't override the origins and intentions of God that are obvious from the minute we are born. It's real simple and we make it complicated for no other reason than to justify our own BS.

Men and men cannot procreate, neither can women with women. Period. God's only commandment from Day One was be "fruitful and multiply," the other commandments came after humans got it all twisted and tried to make it harder than it is. Gays can't do that with each other, so 'nuff said. It isn't the person God "hates," it's the actions--and that goes for ALL sins, not just the sin of homosexuality.

We cannot tell if a person is gay at birth -- all that is seen is gender and parental heritage by birth. We don't even know the baby's true skin coloring until they've been out of the water hold for a few days. If that's the case, what "God" says and meant to be is obvious and no one has to 'speak for Him' to see the obvious.

Everything else after birth is pure rhetoric and man-made crapola.

God loves the ones who love themselves
and loathes all those who speak for him
God made the angels, gays and elves
and arranged to have boutiques for them

God loves his little children
when they’re playful in their deeds
But when they use his book to bash
he views them as his weeds

He’ll spray them with insecticide
and put a rodent on their back
to mark them very publicly
as a half-baked nutty wack

God loves us independently
independent of beliefs
everyone he made unique
to live their own motifs

So marjie, how do you explain loving couples who can't have children? Are they not allowed to have sex together because they can't procreate?

arealman, there is a very simple answer to that.
For those who can't have children he had planed on giving the kids of those who cannot take care of they're own, those who were raped and those who did not feel it was a right time for them and those who flat out didn't want children but then mankind came up with abortion so those who cannot have kids outsource to other countries like china russia and africa.
God did have big plans for those kids but we as a society do not think about what can be used for good they only think of themselves selfishly and not about the kids or people who want them.

Hey Josh. I've got bad news for you. We're all wrong. And we're all right. When we die we'll live forever.........through the memories and the impact we left on others. There is no place called heaven. Heaven is leading a good life. Heaven is your great, great, great grandson learning about the first time you took his grandfather to a ball game. hell is on Earth. Hell is the fact that you were such a miserable person that people were happy you died so you can be quickly forgotten

Stop shoving this Militant Christianity down peoples throats. We're sick of it. Sick of hearing that if we don't put your salvation in the hands of Jebus (thank you Homer Simpson) that we're damned. What I'm trying to say to YOU Josh is.........YOU NEED TO GET LA*D.

If God had meant for man to sleep with man he would of created Adam and Adam...or Eve and Eve.....

Gods love for mankind is so great that he sent Jesus Christ to take the place of all the sinners for all time, but there are Spiritual laws that cannot be broken and because of this if we don't except the gift of Salvation then we have to pay the price, to say that God hates people is incorrect, but God is a just God as well as merciful, therefore the laws of Heaven will be enforced.

God loves everyone regardless of their sexual orientation, what they beleive or anything else. God hates sin, he hates that gay people choose to be gay, but he still loves gay people. He hates that people choose to deny him, but he loves even those who wish to deny him. It's not that he hates people, he hates the decisions they choose to make.

God gives us free will because he loves us.

If who we fall in love with is a decision, a choice, then why don't Christians have arranged marriages?

Why is everyone allowed to love who their heart calls them to, excetp the GLBT. For them, according to most Christians, they can remain celebate or choose to sin.

That can only mean one thing, God does not LOVE, is not LOVE, because in that choice, God requies that humand feighn love, and that goes against all that Christians are supposed to beleve.

This argument, alone, proves that even God does not cherrish love above all else, or God would approve of any heart that was compelled to cherrish another heart.

hey Arealman, I just state what I believe and that is that, it is you that chooses to believe that I shove my religion down your throat, I don't see you effected by anyone else here so I must be doing a good job of making you uncomfortable with the truth so thank you for letting me know that I'm doing a great Job.
I believe we need to push comfort zones because if we don't who will, if you are content with your life and never improve upon it then it shall lead to distruction.

It is not me that can change you arealman because I have no power but if I leave it in God's hands then all the praise will belong to God and not to mankind, my job here is only to share my knowlege and it is up to you weather or not to change.

He's actually easy to talk to if you don't have an agenda.

But a pure heart and clear mind is essential, and don't ignore what he says back. It offends His tender heart to be a friend that isn't valued enough to us to be where He's at.

He's humorous and doesn't like to repeat Himself. But does when I really don't get it!!laugh laugh laugh

If you all think I'm nutz, well now there's no doubt!bigsmile

He also doesn't say much more than He has already said for the most part, in general, because more only hems Him in to fit all He has said together in truth with those things He has already purposed. Apparently, He's thought all of this out quite carefully. He's not a fan of us adding to His words.

We're late in the day, if you will.

But he will speak personally with those whose hearts are open to hear and do.

I don't want anything from Him other than what I sought from Him initially...and that was to hear Him and know He's real and interested. He is. But not like any of us can imagine.

Truth be told, He actually enjoys our friendship. But the conversation with Him is demanding in the cleanliness involved with maintaining the dialogue over a period of years.

I have learned humility and a deeper appreciation for simplicity and clarity from the conversations. So much so, that I've backed way off from talking much with Him.

I much rather prefer to relax and trust that His care for my present welfare is sufficient to meet my needs and adequate in the quietly modest provisions He prefaces prior to any choices I must make when at any particular fork in the road.

I much prefer anonymity like never before.

Seek Him out. You will be breathlessly ecstatic at His attention.

Enough said, clearly talk like this draws lines in the sand.

Believe me when I say this, I know how disturbing my words are.
