A moment of reflection
And a door opens
Stepping through
Courageous and brave now
That was then
This is now
Gone are the days of utter darkness
Gone are the nights of terror filled dreams
No worries from the past
I have left it all behind
Picked myself up and dusted myself off
Walking tall and strong now
Nothing can take me back to that place of darkness
I refuse to step through that door ever again
A moment of reflection
Deep thought
Moving through the door
One foot forward
Never looking back
M words of pain and darkness left behind
In hopes that someday, someone will learn from them
That someone else will see themselves reflected in them
And pick themselves up, dusting themselves off
And stepping through this door I have

Awww g/f I have waited a year to hear those words that
came from within. Telling the Demons that never again
they would walk within and pull you back into the shadows
again. No longer do they have a hold on you as they
once did.
