Wrong. Most ancient people are only known from one source. There are thousands of copies of the Bible from before 200 AD, but there is only one ancient copy of "the Odyssey", does that mean that Homer never existed? Your logic is critically flawed, the Bible is widely accepted as a source of history about Israel and the Jewish people. The Talmud includes this blurb "On the eve of the Passover Yeshu was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald . . . cried, “He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy." Jesus was crucified (Hanged was used for crucified in Hebrew, since they didn't have a word for crucified) on the eve of Passover and he was accused of using sorcery by the religous leaders of his time. The Roman history books document the person of Jesus Christ in their rule. They thought he was a pest and a "rabble" rouser and that he was trying to over throw Roman rule in Palestine. He was sentenced to death by them and put to death by them. It is documented. The Greeks too, write of Jesus Christ. The fact is Christ was born, lived as a Jew in the day, taught and died on the cross for human kind. It happened. It is fact and it is documented outside the Bible. Faith carries me.

Hello to everyone out there! Has anyone out there seen Zeitgeist the Movie ? If you want to find out the story of God, Jesus and Religion i would recommend watching this. It is an eye opener, you will be amazed at what we are told and led to believe as the truth.
