When you say NY, are you including the whole state or just NYC? Seems lots of NJ people are closer to NYC & may have more in common with people from the City than....oh let's say Watertown. Why would you want to exclude them?

Then it should be changed to Tri-State, as far as I can see, it STILL says...New York

Well, I check the forums for Chicago & Houston & it seems that they both are serving the surrounding suburbs despite their titles. Most of northern NJ is a suburb of NYC. So, it seems silly to want to exclude this area.
Also, this forum's subtitle states 'dating in the Big Apple' which I understand to be NYC. The northern NJ suburbs are closer to the Big Apple than 3/4 of NY.
Shakespeare said 'a rose by any other name would smell as sweet' which translates to 'what matters is what something is, not what it's named'. Why be hung up on semantics? I thought this was supposed to be a site for people to meet & greet.

Okay with me, freshmountain. By the way, I spent a week in Idaho 2yrs ago & of the 168 or so hrs we were there, it snowed about 164! I'm an avid skier & it was too much for me. How do you survive?
