I have known people in my past who are the sweetest kindest people you could ever hope to meet...
...Until they feel angry or emotionally threatened. And then they morph into someone I can not even recognize . Some are loud and abrasive whereas some become cold, hard or irrational. A very extreme "Dr Jekyll/ Mr Hyde" type transformation. I personally have learned to detect such traits from early on, and run away as fast as my chubby little legs will carry me... but lately I have been wondering... Do we all have a crazy person inside of us? |

I think we all have something inside us that makes us crazy at times !

I think that's fairly normal human behavior unless it becomes abusive in some way.

I think that's fairly normal human behavior unless it becomes abusive in some way. I guess its all relative to the level of crazy that we think we can handle or are willing to handle. I do think some people are more even tempered in their temperament than others Ruth Oh... and maybe it is also relative to the things we deem as justifiable for becoming crazy over . |

Do we all have a crazy person inside of us? Just by being human we have cognitive distortions. Sometimes they work for us sometimes they work against us. We are all inclined to illusion, delusion and denial along with the capacity for wrong thinking and with these characteristics we justify everything we do. While everything we do is justified it is often not justifiable. us humans are clever like that |

Depends what you think crazy is
What might be crazy for one might not be for another. It's how you look at it. |

That really depends on the situation.
If someone was to hurt someones family/friends then yea I would expect to see them to go crazy. But now it depends if a person is Bipolar. I have known a few as long as they were on the meds no problem. Take them off of them and anything could set them off. Now you talking crazy they can show you... Now if someone just went off at any given moment for things that don't warrant it then I'm going to distance myself as far from them as I can... It takes a lot to rile me up as far as getting mad... Most stuff there is not a lot you can do about it but make the best of it.. I prefer laughing over getting mad... |

I would not call it crazy but we all have the"button" that can be pushed and then the anger just comes shooting out, making one become a totally different person. |

Well, actual insanity is commonly misunderstood. Sanity as well.
Crazy is such a slang term, that it's popular to say someone is crazy as a compliment. But all that aside, it has seemed to be more and more true to me, that there are a lot more people in the world with problems of one sort or another, than there are people who are truly balanced, mature, and completely in touch with the real world in a positive way. One of the big frustrations I've had with my own life, has been that by the time I learned how to deal with each stage reasonably well, I was usually at least five, and usually ten years or more past it already. |

Are We All Crazy In Some Way ?
IMO you aren't really describing "crazy." Until they feel angry or emotionally threatened.
And then they morph... loud and abrasive whereas some become cold, hard or irrational That's just responding to a perceived threat. People aren't crazy to respond to anger or threats. Unless you're talking about something like "I ate the last popsicle, so they blew up a bus full of nuns." That's crazy. Loud and abrasive, or cold hard or irrational aren't really "crazy" responses unless you think laughing and smiles are "crazy" reactions to feeling happy. Do we all have a crazy person inside of us?
We all have a baby inside of us that longs for the freedom to act or react unfettered by the chains and cage of social training. |

That leaves us all vulnerable to being crazy if we take these tendencies to the extreme |

Depends what you think crazy is What might be crazy for one might not be for another. It's how you look at it. Yeah. Annie. I guess what we deem as crazy is all relative. I guess I take it for granted that reactions like yelling , cussing people out or shutting down completely, are extreme reactions for what I consider to be normal everyday displeasures. |
