Does anyone here believe that you have a soulmate out there?
Perhaps some things that didn't workout in the past, could've possibly been a way from God to eventually lead you to your destiny & your soul mate... You can be so much in love with someone but that necessarily doesn't imply that he/she is your soul mate...I'm not sure if I really believe in it but certain situations & events in Iife can lead you to the one you meant to spend the rest of your life with in happiness and peace..... If not then fate has other plans for you but somewhat it could have been experienced by certain individuals |

Oh yes, I believe! You are fully right. God has the perfect plan for my life. Everything was leading me to the one and only husband. My first marriage didn't work. That's okay. It was a painful experience. God was using it for my best!!!
I am 60 years now. Two years ago I travelled to Pakistan for marriage. The timing of that miracle was perfect. I couldn't have met my husband earlier in life, because he was not even born that time. We are really made for one another. I feel home in him. When I look at his picture I feel peace. Yes, he is my soulmate and he is my husband. I thank God, for leading me this way. God is so good! Be blessed! |

If we rely on numbers, its really somewhat insignificant to believe in things such as true love. For me, there are things that the eyes may not be able to see but still our hearts can feel them. If a person believes strongly on something, he will have it somehow, someday. All he has to do is not to give up the faith. |

Does anyone here believe that you have a soulmate out there?
Anyone? Probably. Me? No. Perhaps some things that didn't workout in the past, could've possibly been a way from God to eventually lead you to your destiny & your soul mate...
The god you describe here is kind of evil or childish. As it implies god created me to lead me through problems in order to lead me to my destiny. If god is going to manipulate me into what it thinks I should become why not just build me that way in the first place. I don't have free will if god keeps leading me to a destiny god already knows and wants for me. I'm either gods toy making punishment and reward ultimately pointless, god wants to interfere with my free will to suffer, or god is fallible in creating things. You can be so much in love with someone but that necessarily doesn't imply that he/she is your soul mate
Says who. It can just as easily be someone doesn't "really" love someone so much, they only think they do, and that's why "that necessarily doesn't imply" they are a "soul mate." But maybe if it's "true" love (that gets spouted here all the time) then they are your soul mate. Can you absolutely prove another person does or doesn't "really" feel love? certain situations & events in Iife can lead you to the one you meant to spend the rest of your life with...If not
"Some things and stuff may or may not lead you to other things and stuff." That's not really helpful in any way. Mixed with If not then fate has other plans for you
it makes it "Forum driving advice: Take a left, and you may or may not get to where you want to go, but if you don't get to where you want to go, you're still somewhere." but somewhat it could have been experienced by certain individuals
Huh? "You may not get what you want, but fate has other plans for you to get something, and what you wanted may have been experienced to some degree by someone else." ...That's what that last sentence is saying. So Do you believe?
No. |

I absolutely believe in soul mates! In fact I believe that my soul mate is happily married with child and in the most wonderful relationship of their life. Unfortunately this means I will probably never know them for that very reason and grow old and die alone.

I don't know if I believe in the concept of a romantic soulmate , but I do believe in deep love , synergy and partnership.
And so far , I have felt that combo not only a romantic interest, but I have felt it in my relationship with my sister, and with a few close platonic friendships as well. Go figure... |

As I'm new to USA, I don't think I'll have any successful relationship due to language and culture differences.

Got to be looking for my soul instead hahaha. The belief in soulmates just gives inspiration to all hopeless romantic people out there. It gives them hope that someday, someone will come along and everything will not be as bad as before. However, its becoming a escape goat whenever problems arise in a relationship. Lovers walk away and part, thinking that there will always be a soulmate, instead of fixing the problem. |

I believe there are higher powers that have a hand in finding our mate for us. Help us learn the skills we need for finding and building lasting relationships. I even think at times they put the person who could make us happy in our path by a chain of events so we have that choice.
As a Christian I have been very interested by how the Biblical teachings counsel us on that subject. Among others that greatly affect relationships such as betrayal and anger. But I also believe that free will and choice is, and always will be, part of the process. If you do not open yourself up to a good relationship, are not willing to make the effort you could find a saint and still end up miserable and eventually alone if not remain alone. The concept that love is some how limited to one person just does not match my concept of love. I do not love one of my own parents, or siblings, or children more than another but individually as I think we do in relationships that do not co-habitat the same time. I do not think it is possible to truly love more than one mate at the same time. That is just being selfish and really hating yourself because ultimately failed relationships hurt and no one wants to be second best with a mate. But can we deeply love someone that is different than a previous spouse that you once loved but lost for a variety of reasons? Sure. What we love and want in one stage of our life may have some consistencies but will change as we hopefully grow and or age or our needs change. At one point that someone was "father" material was very important and now that I am past my significant "parenting" years that is not nearly so important as someone who is a good senior years companion. |

No. Dude my point was certain obstacles in life can greatly influence your life & where it heads out, we all have future goals but the smallest decision can greatly impact it & life can take a turn in a completely different direction that when you look back you can realize it....It's not about what i wanted being experienced by others but its about how fate influenced peoples lives & they are where they are , its not about God either but about what you thought & planned but destiny had other plans which ü were meant for... |

Many people have perhaps been deeply in love in the past & you thought he/she was your soul mate but it never worked out, would that mean that person was not your soul mate?? Possibly coz soul mate is someone you should be spending the rest of your life with in love, peace & contentment. If you have a soul mate you will meet them eventually but you need to make the effort from your part too .

The word soulmate does not imply reciprocity and also degrees of parallel interest, desire, energy, intelligence, emotion and sexual chemistry too
