You just answered your own question. We are humans.... Imperfect, ignorant yet full of promise. :)

I think you must be asking why are some people unnecessarily hostile towards others.

We sort the world out, as a normal part of being mobile responsive beings. We have to sort things, just to make it from one moment to the next. Food from not-food, dangerous from safe, that sort of thing.

Some people get confused, and think that they are in danger when they are not. I attribute this to something on a very simple level of perception: people have a biochemical sense of "strangeness," and then react to it poorly.

I see it in more than just the obvious establishments of prejudice-based social systems.

Some people do it a lot while mate hunting, as we can see on forums like this every day. They sense something is not what they expect or desire in another person, and then instead of taking the time to make further investigation and determine exactly why the other person seems unusual, they go on the attack. They do anything from directly insulting them, to quietly blocking them out, declaring them unfit to associate with.

Therefore my short answer to why people divide up more than they need to, when it comes to things like gender identity and sexuality, is because they are following very NORMAL reactions within themselves, and going too far, because they don't understand the nature of how boundaries do and don't work.

values, standards,, humans have different values and standards,, making them individuals,, as well as all human

its why we have different expectations for children than for adults, or for 'criminals' vs 'lawabiding'


or for the sick and the healthy,,,,,etc,,,etc,,,


people want what they want and feel what they feel and humans defend themselves from things that pose a threat to or minimalize or discriminate against what they want and/or feel

What divide? The one, the elite & political leaders created, for their own gain, to blame the 5 major religions? That divide?

because we all need a label, so we can be categorized and defined..

the same reason humans have been doing it for thousands of years... because they are different...

Well let's call straight guys lesbos, gays are the new girls and transsexuals are called watchamacallits and regular girls are the straights. Yea, that's much better.

Why the devide? The social norms have been in place for a while. There will always be a devide. Humans being human. Imo the transgender thing is selfishly being pushy. Why don't they just ask for their own bathroom? There basic saying, Hey deal with it were here. Well child molesters are licking their chops over this one. A man can't walk into a woman's bathroom because it might traumatized a young girl. Now if a selfish transfer gender guy walks in thinking he is a woman... he has opened the door for that molestor. They should make a third bathroom and be done with it. Besides if you are a straight couple bringing up a child, now you have to explain the whole confused thing to a child that can easily be confused.

OK, who is supposed to provide the popcorn for this thread? My turn was two weeks ago.

I am sorry I do not buy the whole molester argument.

For one thing transgender people are not molesters at any higher rate than the people you think are safe. And many are much more likely to get in and out of the bathroom as fast as they can for their own safety.

IF you are a responsible parent you accompany your child to the bathroom regardless of their gender in public places and if even that is questionable then a real protector would stand outside and wait for if your help is needed.

Lets get REAL men are not the only molesters and your child is much more likely to be bothered by a thug of the same gender trying to intimidate them for the phone, name brand shoes what ever, or just because they get views on social media for doing even evil things.

Personally I do not think it is the responsibility of small business to even provide seperate bathrooms for men and women and that bathrooms should be for solitary use for PEOPLE and I do not care about their private lives. A bathroom should be for the purpose of being a bathroom not a social outing.

so are you saying the molesters won't say they are "transgender" and not use the little girls room? there's no way that could ever happen, since all criminals always follow the laws...

No I did not say that at all. Molesters will use any guise possible to gain access to a victim including but not limited to saying they are transgender and dressing so you could not tell if they were male or female.

Molesters use bathrooms every day to abuse others weather they are male or FEMALE so if you think "little girls " are safe in "little girls" bath rooms you are deluding yourself. If you know anything about molesters then you would know they often groom other children and same sex adults to lure their victims.

What I said is criminals are criminals but just because someone is transgender does not make them a criminal.

Or any more likely to abuse the people of the sex they want to be like. Even if in fact it is to not look like either.
