Filmmaker and American citizen Agustin Blazquez never thought his native Cuba would become a communist country, but now he sees the same radical shift happening in America.

In this exclusive video interview for The Daily Caller News Foundation, he says the left has been clever by using “very non-threatening words,” like liberal, progressive and concerned citizens, for advancing government control of American lives. The truth about Cuban politics is hard to find because of media spin and propaganda dominating American discourse.

For Blazquez, watching American youth embrace avowed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders for president, strikes him as “absurd.” It is the end result, he says, of the cultural marxist education and media propaganda that has anesthetized too many Americans who do not defend the values that made America exceptional.

Watching President Barack Obama travel to Cuba, he says, made him “want to throw up.” This was a “betrayal to victims of communism,” the filmmaker of “Covering Cuba” says. Blazquez adds there are “so many [Nelson] Mandelas” in Cuban prisons, who are tortured, denied medical attention and abused. Yet, prominent black elites from America, including most incredibly to him, the Congressional Black Caucus, are wined and dined by the political elites but are blind to their “betrayal of blacks in Cuba.”

As the “fundamental transformation of America” continues under Obama’s governance, Blazquez warns that elites in America are in a precarious situation. Their privileges, rights and property could evaporate fast with America’s trend towards erosion of liberties. “Wake up, America!” the Cuban-American proclaims.

Interestingly, the Obama administration is forcing one of the most prominent Cuban exiles, Ramon Saul Sanchez, who has been a thorn in the side of the Castro regime, to leave America.

People may use words, because "they think it sounds nice", & may not realize, that it is just, a new or different word for an old ideology.

Wordplay & Downplay (as I always say). He is more or less saying the same thing.

He also mentioned, the changing of definitions, or miss use of a word (more or less).
By using the example of 'liberal'. It doesn't mean what it use to mean. It use to mean 'less government interference', now it means 'more government'.

The insurance companies are profiting more then ever with Obamacare because people have to buy coverage they do not need and also the poor and middle classes can't afford the deductibles and end up not using the "insurance" they paid for

Every time a progressive wants to "fix" something, they ultimately make everyone less free and dependent on the crooked government.

You mean like having a choice to buy health insurance without being penalized?
You mean like being able to start a small business without jumping through the hoops caused by rules and regulations by numerous government agencies?

Regressive liberals leader don't want the power in the hands of the people which is part of the con they use. They want power in the hands of a central government controlled by an academic elitist cartel which is close to being fascism.

Here is a little history of what fascism really is and it looks a lot like the REGRESSIVE lefts agenda.

It's the federal government, not corporations, that is slowly making the US "Fascist state, in the REAL sense of the word" as YOU put it.

As soon as a wannabe baseball player grows a beard, puts on second hand US army fatigues, and starts haranguing us from the jungles of Florida, I'll worry.

In the mean time, the danger that we'll be turned into a corporate-run, fascist-like capitalist dictatorship are higher than that we'll go "commie."

Unless he means AFTER the greedy-guts high finance manipulators screw things up so bad that the mass of the middle class up and rebels against them, and THEN starts worshiping a baseball hero, then maybe.
