Ok so there is this guy that I really do not like in the town I live in so I went in the store, he was there ! I tried to be nice when he asked how I was then he asked what I was doing tonight, I said working (really not) He said thats too bad cause I wanted to come see you I said well I already told you I have a man (i dont) He said that dont mean NOTHIN! I told him it means something to me and that I dont care what he thinks, then he said I am gonna steal you from your man! I just looked at him disguisted and drove away,
I hate when a man just does not get it, I am not a rude person unless need be, but this man makes me sick!
Any thoughts on how to approach this situation next time? (hopefully there is not a next time)

Here's something I'm experiencing lately -- my ex and broke up in September. I started dating someone else and he is pissed and now wants me back. Sometimes men are just after what they can't have. Just be persistant -- if you really don't like this guy keep telling him "NO". Hope it works out for you hon.

Tell him you have standards and well he does not meet any of them.
If all else fails sometimes you have to be mean as well his comments were rude. If he wanted to ask you out he should have asked maybe to have dinner sometime, when you said you had a man he should have apologized for asking and went on his way.

guys today( and women too) are not as mentally stable as they were 30years ago. because of an crazy ex of mine i have to keep my info private. file for a restraining/peace order and move outta town. if you stay it will only get worse, because he will have close access to you. but when you move keep all your info unlisted at all times no matter what, when or where.

I cant put a restraining order on him I dont even know his name, and I dont want to ask he may take it the wrong way, But I think next time I will be truthful, and tell him he does not meet my standards, because really he doesn't. I never see him in a car he is always walking, honestly I dont think he even works, I see him all the time walking all over town...

Sounds like the guy has some issues. I think it would be best if you just told him that he isn't up to your standards. In situations like this, you have to be honest no matter how hurtful it may be to the other person.

I don't think I would use the word stadard when you tell him you are not interested, if he is unstable, that would set him off. "in for a dollar thing"...tell him you just got out of a bad relationship and are taking a break from men for awhile, or maybe invite him to go to church with you! that usually scares people off, or even just grab his hand and say...lets pray about this...Dear God, we ask for your guidance in this situation.....
