Just wondering if anyone has met anyone famous, and what was it like? Or,like me, did you go to the same school as one, at the same time, or not?

For me, I had the great pleasure of being an extra in the Blues Brothers movie when I was 15 or so. My buddy and I got a ride from his Mom to go to the old Dixie Square shopping center where they were shooting the movie, and we got picked to be extras in the crowd. We each got 50 bucks for doing it, but would have done it for free to meet John & Dan.

Quite a few years later, I had the misfortune of meeting Richard Gere while he was filming the movie Primal Fear here in Chicago. If you have the movie, or a really good memory,he pulls up to the front doors of Cook County Jail (where I worked)
to have an attorney visit with Ed Norton. We all had to reschedule our lunches as to not need to use that door. It's the only exit door to the outside. We were told that they were done with the shooting for the day, and that we could use the door. As I went out the door to go to my car, I just happened to walk past him, and he asked me if I wanted his autograph... LOL.. Nope, I said, just going to lunch..

Working as a truck mechanic, met Arlo Guthrie, while fixing the air ride on his bus.

My ex-girlfriend used to deliver Glen Campbell's mail. We happened to be in Laughlin, NV and Glen was playing there. We got on the elevator and Glen was there. Just us and Glen, he was a little surprised when she told him his home addresses. Then we ran into him all the time that weekend, as his room was just down the hall from ours.

Hmm I met Ronald Reagan once so I guess that counts.

I met Johnny Depp while he was shopping for icecream (his mom lives in Lexington and hes known to show up at her house on Halloween and hand out candy dressed at Jack Sparrow.)

And I saw Orlando Bloom and Kirstin Dunst(sp) while they were filming "Elizibethtown" in my home town of Versailles (which ticks me off even more because they were saying how great E-town was and they only did two scenes there, but filmed the rest in V-sailes and said they hated it there)

Stanley Idaho is a huge tourist area. I used to work there and I met several people. Arnold Schwartz., John Larroquette, Susan Serandon, Peter Coyote.....

I MET THE GUY WHO PLAYED EDDIE MONSTER ON " THE MONSTERS " TV SHOW. CAN'T REMEMBER HIS REAL NAME.
IN GOLF....CHICHI, ARNOLD PALMER, & JACK NICOLUS.

AFTER AWHILE, IT JUST GETS TO BE NORMAL WHEN YOU MEET PEOPLE LIKE THIS, BECAUSE YOU FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE NOT ANY DIFFERENT THAN YOU ARE.

Oh and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore also......he's a jerk!

Steve Garvey when he played with the Dodgers,(literally ran into him), Mike Soscha (not sure of the spelling on the last name) eith the Dodgers at the Lucky's grocery store my dad managed.

Dont know if this counts, but Erik Estrata waved at me from his limo on the freeway, on the way home from Universal Studios.

I saw Santa at the mall last December...he let me sit on his lap

My uncle owned a limo service to the ski resorts here in Colorado, we met quite a few there. They are just like everyone else to me.
