john savage--he came to the marina where my family kept our boat.he came with jordan micheal from the guiding light,and two others,,they were in town filming white squall..they wanted to learn how to crab

tom hanks---while he was here filming forrest gump..most of that movie was filmed here

and last but not least sandra bullock----my x mother in law was working in a coffe shop here and called me as soon as she showed up..she was here shooting some low budget movie..

I met Prince Edward when he came to my little island when I was a school kid, twice, and I shook his hand. My sister and brother were invited to the Prince Edward Ball and sis danced with him. I remembered all the schools wore leafs like we were heathens or something and waited outside his plane to welcome him to our island haha. Pathetic really but it was meant to be something traditional yet my ancestors wore nothing in their days lol. Had a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth when I was 6, she came over in 1974 to open out international airport. No the royal family are boring lol

Met Kenny Rogers as a teenager. Us kids thought he was santa claus. us kids sang his song, "Islands In The Stream" 100's of times

Met David Bowie when he came to my island to do that boring movie of his, "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence" ---remember his fringe or how he does his hair, wow the kids back then started sporting his style haha

Met heaps of New Zealand and Australian actors, footy players, singers, rugby players, atletes over the years. Yea met heaps of famous Rugby players from NZ, England, Argentina, Aussies on my island too. It's been so long I can't remember who they are now haha

I remembered falling in love with Johnny Walker, a kiwi athlete. He used to play golf next to my house and I told myself when I grow up I am going to marry him. I was 8 I think i was a crazy kid When I got older i realised he was not as handsome as I thought haha

i've met wolfman jack in the mid 70's as he and lovely ladies were eating at a resturaunt where i've worked --got his autograph then





i shook hand with bill clinton in mid 70's too when he was running for governor in arkansas

I held David Bowie's hand and shook Billy Idol's hand at their concerts.

Bill Clinton is one of my fav people oh and Nelson Mandela, what's the chances of running into them eh...oh Bush thought Mandela was dead onetime, hahaha

I was 11 years old and sat next to Jesse Owens on a flight to florida. I got bumped to first class and there he was. I had just watched him in the Olympics. We was very nice sat and talked and gave autograph. Oh crap dated myself. I am 38 and he and Pele were the big stars of the day.

Well, I have met Bob Hope, George Jones, Tammy Wynett, Richard Roundtree, Jacquken Bissett and Jeanie C Riley. Also was on a security detail guarding, who now is the Vice President, when he was Secretary of Defense. And as others have already said in here, they are just normal people in their private lives.

I've met several wrestlers over the years, but by and large, the ABSOLUTE nicest one you'll ever hope to meet is Leapin' Lanny Poffo. Met him at the matches in the late 70s. What a super nice guy! His "Genius" persona in WWF fit him well, too. One of the most intellegent people I've been fortunate enough to talk to.

As far as TV/Movie stars go, I met the late Pat Morita(Karate Kid movies)in Disney World back in 1994. He was on a tight schedule, but still took a minute to talk to me, and even posed for a picture. Another super nice person.

and when i worked at a golf course resturant i walk in that moring and saw a unmark bus as to find out later vince gill was playing golf, and we all stop to watch him play

i dated a guy that was 2nd cousins to john schneider from dukes of hazard when i was 18

i went ot high school with this kid as to find out his 2nd cousin was charlies daniels

oh yea a friend of mine her uncle was bull amos .... TRUE!!!
