Thank you all. Yeah I know but sometimes you just need to hear other people tell you that so you know that you are not going crazy by saying this is me and im not ready to go back yet. What I do tell him why im upset so to say with god he tells me that god gave me a medical issue because he knew I could handle it. but thanks for listening and not judging.

Sounds like a control issue, usually involves some sort of insecurity scenario. If you're OK with being a puppet, then I guess it makes sense. Otherwise this is going to be an ongoing problem.

It doesn't necessarily mean it's a control issue. Sometimes we just rather be friends with those who share a deep love for something. In this case, it's God and church attendance.

In any case, I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt.

AbercrombieGirlie - All I will say this is this: Don't do anything just to keep this guy. If you know you don't want to attend church, then he needs to respect that. He needs to respect anything that you choose to do, whether or not if it is related to religion.
