I might People marry people they meet online, of course that is after they get to know them a lot more in real life, so I would agree that you can trust people you first meet online. However, you have to be sure as much as you can be and before meeting them, that they are genuine, because there are scammers online, those people with a hidden agenda, spinning a story to win your trust only wanting to obtain money from you. Don't trust someone you just met online but give him or her the benefit of the doubt. Everybody is a suspect of their own personal interest or intentions either bad or good. Get to know them first before you trust.

The key is, to know and trust yourself, first.

When you do know yourself well, know what you want, and know what you must not accept, trusting others will be much easier, for the simple reason that what you are trusting them WITH,especially at first, is with those small portions of your life that you can afford to lose.
