Would you get to know someone who doesn't post a photograph? Is it right
for someone to post all of their info on-line yet afraid to add a
picture?

I have very light sensitive eyes. A flash while I am looking at the
camera normally makes me totally blind for a few minutes and no way I
would trust driving and such for and hour or so. I used to drive a truck
at night and make short hauls for a few of the local nurseries(plants).
I wore the yellow/green sun glasses to cut down on the glare. So yes I
wore my sun glasses at night. So I have an instinctive fear of cameras.
90% of the time if I see a camera remotely pointed at me I flip them
off. It was a habit I learned as people do not want someone flipping
them off in their photos. If I had a descent photo or knew a way of
getting one without the flash I would try to get one posted.

My last photo taken of me was 3 years ago by the ex who caught me off
guard licking the icing off a butcher knife after cutting my sons Bday
cake. I looked like a nut case like Here's Johnny from the Shining.

Maybe more people are like me. But honestly love is blind. Learn to
look to the inner person and you can care less what the package is.

Too funny. You could try a disposable camera with no flash built in.
Take the shot during the day and outside. Instant photograph with no
flash in the face. Take Care

Any camera with a fast film, or any digital camera would work fine.
Digital is better, but hey.... if you are afraid of camera's, guess you
will go unnoticed for some time....

Most often, I've found that "no photo" (on this or the other sites I'm
on) meant the person was trying to hide something, or that they were
just online for kicks. If something in the profile appealed to me, I'd
request a picture. If they don't post one or send one directly...BLOCK
'EM. If I'm upfront enough to put my face out to the world, standing up
and saying, "This is IT", I expect the same in return.

Totally agree. In my case I post more than one so if someone is
communicating with me then I know that they are genuinely interested and
not just guessing.

well I have to agree with putting a pitcure up, what really gets me is
when they put a pic of some model up saying it is them, i just dont
understand why ppl wanna lie about there looks...

I've come across those, too. My first impression is that they are
guilty of "wishful thinking". Then my gut tells me they're just
"lurkers" or "trolls".

Thats my favourite button. The good thing about be on-line is that you
don't have to be emotionally attached to get rid of someone. Just press

Thanks for the ideas. The ex got the digi camera in the split. So that
option is out. But I will look for a disposable without flash.

I agree about the cartoon, animal and model pictures. That is why I
just left it blank. I have nothing to hide but if I am outdoor on a
sunny day there will be shades over my eyes and the eyes are the windows
to the soul.

That would be a lie and would end a relationship before it even gets
started. Relationships are built on trust. You are really showing your
true colors to the ladies if they read the forums.

I didn't say it's what I did. My point was if you aren't going to post
a picture, you might as well get something goofy.

Also, I don't know about you, but I am certainly not here to find random
