you think that you have the right
to judge others because your family
came here first; you take everything
for granted, you don't take the time
to think that those coming behind
are leaving everything that means
life to them, to pursue a dream.

The same dream that your famiily,
several generations before you,
had when they came here.
The same reasons several years ago
moved your family from wherever they
came from to come over here.
They took the same pain and risk.

Who did give you the right?
What makes you more important than us?
Why don't you just see beyond your nose?
Who did teach you to be a hater?
Open your heart, and understand that
though it has not been done in the right way
It was the only viable option.
