Do you think that in a relationship you need to be mentally stimulated before you can be sexually stimulated ?

Let's face it sexual arousal can happen even if it is just a casual encounter, but I want to know if you LOVE someone UNCONDITIONALY if you want Mental stimulation as well.

Do you want it before,after,during or throughout the relationship,sexual encounter..... ?

Personally, intellect is my mental stimulation...not intricate details of my encounters face or body. Yes, that works but never my initially focus when it comes to mental stimulation....like to remind myself the way the individual thinks especially if it is somethng inspiring..blah

there are so many things it takes to keep a relationship going,physically and mentally,without the culmination of the sum total you begin to feel that something is lacking,i think it depends on where a person is at in their life i also think as we age and have been in different relationships that we begin to understand what it takes for us to get involved with someone else,since we are talking about relationships and not just another sexual encounter,sex just feeds one need,there are so many facets to complete a relationship but i guess for the most part its based on an individuals requirements,finding a person who is looking for the same things in a relationship while fulfilling your needs and vice a versa is the difference as to whether a relationship will last or not...i guess this is where the saying goes you can love someone but not be in love with them..go figure..i think mental stimulation is required throughout the relationship without it in the relationship it will become stagnant..too much thinking in this blue box...

I think you can indeed be solely physically attracted to someone, and as long as they keep up their appearance, it's good. But for me, what really gets me going is both. Someone with more between the ears than alcohol and women, and someone who knows how to turn a phrase, as well as someone sexy (at least to me, what I think is sexy)
